I picked up 2 MPH w/ the 6speed swap. Didn't gain/lose any time.

As for bracket racing...that's the common theory, and I'll bracket race any auto any time with my 6speed :) It's all about the driver. My last 3 times at NED I've had all of my runs within .05. NEVER LIFT!

Blew up original motor [lost a rod that sucked ] now has a b-body lt1 cast heads b-body cam ,Holly wet NOS system after motor lost a rod [ lol]

Basically I rebuilt the hole car over time the weight was 3825 up at track with me in it . it now has 166,00 on the body bought it with like 90,000 on it in 2003 and a lot of other little stuff

hey thx pizza. yea man im gonna get together some sponsor packets and bring them to a few shops etc. im willing to put sponsors on my rear window and windshield banner and also i will wear any clothing etc. and will drop names to gmhtp. but i will not allow any graphics on the car. i hate that.

its looking like i should be able to afford the trip if i tighten up financnially and find a good paing job over the summer (hopefully)

I am going to be trying to get to every meet I can this summer and I go to the track all the time in my car....... just watch mostly because of finicky rules lol but hope to run more this season! Forget the tire make but they are the cheapest shittiest tires available for the ZR1 rims. Best time was accomplished with a passenger and my work cooler full of 3 gallons of water and a 36 coors cooler pack because of SEVERE! traction issues. It was also my 1st time ever down the track.... never forget that feeling lol. Best was 14.2 empty car. 13.6 with all the weight! DR's and suspension here I come!

Drag radial wise imo its the most proven. Ive heard the hoosier drag radials are extremley sticky but wear wicked fast and suck on the street. With that being said i have gone through two sets of M/T ET Street Radials and love em

Drag radials +1! I actually hook better on MT DRs than I did on the ET Streets. Dropped my 60's from high 1.5s to mid/low 1.4s. I'm sold on the DRs. :)

Went to Lebanon figured I wouldnt get traction but wanted to try it out did 12.74 at 112.88 with an amazing 2.179 60ft hahahahaha thats the worst 60 i've ever had I had to baby the hell out of it just to get it to not spin off the line. Last year basically stock besides headers and borla I ran 12.79 at 108 wiht a 1.89 60 ft on street tires. I have 295/35/18 BFG KDW's on the rear and THEY SUCK! I have some M/T ET streets for it but i really am nervous to throw them on my stock 10 bolt with 3.42's If i had an automatic it wouldnt be an issue as much but with this 6 speed its a huge risk and I dont feel like spending 3 grand on a 9" right now. But the car fly's its a huge difference after Slohawk installed a Custom Cam LS6 Intake and My Monster Clutch. This is getting addicting

took some runs to get to the 12.9, with some help from tony i got there haha. 15lbs tire pressure, went around water, 2nd gear burnout @ 5k (looked like john force). tried 17lbs for the first runs, went through water and 1st gear burnout but car would spin a ways off the line, still cut 2.0x 60s.

wait until october and go up, at least a 12.7x in it. All those little things effect the run. the burnout, driving around the water box. tire pressure. launch rpm. next time u go do the exact same thing u did on that 12.9 pass but this time try to barely click on the 2nd stage light. the shallower u stage the more momentum u will have before u click the ET timer and the run will be faster ET wise and MPH wise.

now u know what the car likes, how hot the tires like to be, what rpms it likes to launch at, what tire pressures it likes. Now ur more dialed in and should run consistantly faster.

A lot of fun going up with u joe im glad i went. Thx for the micky d's afterwards too that was very nice of you. lemme know next time u go up with maddie i'll come up again if u guys want.

btw it looked alot faster in person then in that video. it dosent do it justice. the launch was pretty much perfect weight transfer wise.

If i got it down to a 74 i'd cut more than 2 tenths off i bet. I cut 2 tenths off when i went from a 1.95 to a 1.89 But it doesnt seem possible on these stock gears and rear
