Went up to Chevy Fest yesterday and first pass ripped a 12.809 @ 104.71 with a 1.767 60' The car was very rich on that pass ~11.6 but it hooked good and was 536' DA (http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-altitude-calculator.php?temperature=62.4&rh=100&altset=29.96&elevation=90&track=178&month=9&day=21&year=2013&time=10:58%20AM).

Next pass I took a little fuel out and had pretty significant wheel hop in 932' DA (http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-altitude-calculator.php?temperature=68.2&rh=77&altset=29.93&elevation=90&track=178&month=9&day=21&year=2013&time=11:58%20AM). 12.92

Then my dam window regulator got stuck and I couldn't get my window up! By the time I went back to the pits took my door panel off and tinkered around, it cooled down and went up. Then I only had time for one last 12.6 pass a little lean at 12.9ish afr in 1337' DA (http://www.dragtimes.com/da-density-altitude-calculator.php?temperature=72.7&rh=67&altset=29.83&elevation=90&track=178&month=9&day=21&year=2013&time=3:58%20PM).

I really wanted to get a 12.7. I think I could have if I had more passes to dial in the fuel. Well I'm happy to improve either way.

Great runs for a bolt-on car.

Thanks guys! Yeah I'm getting there but not quite. I want to create either an exponential or linear gradient through the rpm range rather than just shooting for an average. I think at lower rpm you are supposed to use more fuel than up top or vice versa.

Getting your fueling down now I see. Nice times, hope I can run close to that lol
Come up and race! I want another LT1 friend to duke it out with.

This is awesome bud. I see your best time in your signature? 12.3 at 108. With 1.6 60

I do have a quick question. My old settup was just bolt on and a cc503 cam and 100 shot I ran 12.5 at 115 with a 2.09 60ft I didn't spray off the line or in first gear bc my 4l60e was slipping a little and I didn't trust my 10bolt.
I believe it was a 13.2 without 100shot

How much does the 60ft times effect your trap speed. We ran similar times with about 7mph difference.
Maybe my MPH is high for a 12.5 pass bc I didn't spray first gear?

Just putting this out here trying to get a feel for things. I've seen cars inow high 11s with 115mph traps.

Can't wait to see what my new settup does. I'll have my mods in my signature sooner or later
