If you want a second quote - Ayotte Brothers out of South Windsor

They did an excellent job on our driveway - Widened from 8 to 12 ft - 100 Ft main section where they had to completely remove old pavement and go down 18" to regrade plus 20 x 20 section of brand new area - $5K total if I remember

Worth a call if you are shopping it out!

Funny you mention them. I remembered your old message about Ayotte and I called them for a quote this morning.

Thanks!

I remembered some early on discussions on the Driveway - but couldn't remember if I had provided their info....

They were definitely good to us - I was "shooting the Sh*&*T" with the owner for quite some time when they came out to quote the job, and they were good about updating us on scheduling and work plans as needed.

For the size of the job you need - it's definitely worth multiple quotes as even for our driveway we got a wide range of pricing (and some higher ones didn't even include all the details we knew we wanted)

Good Luck with it!!

Hey Dawg,

Andrighetti never showed up. Not sure why.

I've got Ayotte coming Wed morning for an estimate.

I've got Maglieri Construction and Paving coming out sometime during the week but for some reason they just want to work on the the estimate themselves and not talk to me beforehand.

Probably not. He didn't seem too interested on the phone. He said he would show up at 9 am and said that if he couldn't he said he would call.

He never showed up and never called.

Lester Ayotte was here this morning to work on the quote. He is the first guy to actually listen to what I was saying about all the ponding water. He was real specific on important details like directions of curtain drains.

It's going to be a few days for the quote, but I'm hoping it's reasonable.

Ayotte is definitely not inexpensive.

Their quote for driveway & drainage is $81,485.
