Yep. You've got one of the new-fangled ones....I have to yell for someone to hear me on my work payphone and Mabel always connects me to the wrong friggin person.

my grandparents had one...just like everyone else hahaha.. i used it couple times...takes so long to dial a phone number hahaha

Gramps still has one, its yellow. Used it a couple months ago, before he went in the hospital.

Same here, folks had one in the 80's. Also had a push button phone that still pulse dialed like a rotary phone, you could hear the corresponding number of clicks after you pressed a number. If you plug these in they will still make and receive calls.

The Rotary dial is still around.
You might like to try the iDial cel phone....
