I'm guessin they give it back when u leave cause the techs can't tell without lookin inside the helmet...

And zfrie you can only use the helmet if it has a snell rating atleast m2005. Dot doesn't work.

They take the helmet and put your number on it and put it in the shed. When you finish racing for the night you can pick it back up.

bring any helmet. Borrow a good helmet for tech. Pretty simple to figure out.

I just say my car runs 14.1 and then put my motorcycle helmet on when I run. Of course my car doesn't sound/look any faster than that so it doesn't raise eyebrows.

they dont know, wednesday i went and told the guy mid 14s. i put my expired helmet on and made 14 passes that night all 13.50s lol. i went back friday and didnt want to try my luck so i bought a helmet, no worries now.
