So either way I'm going to put in some new black rug. But for the remainder of the inside I was thinking spraying bed liner to give it some sort of detail but save on weight. What do you guys think?

just do a real carpet with no insulation.

If you don't mind the noise or vibration then sure but I'm willing to bet the non insulated carpet weighs close to the amount of paint you're gonna end up using. Even then you're not saving much weight

yeah exactly my point. carpet wont weigh anything and the paint wont dampen Any noises at all!

I agree with mike, you can get a factory replacement rug for 90 bucks and just slap it in there. Maybe use some dynamat if you really want to dampen down on noise

home depot/lowes sells some real light weight foam padding with a sticky side kinda link dynomat that you could stick under there. better than nothing and a huge roll weighs like 2 pounds lol
