With all the drain curtains I want, it probably won't be that inexpensive Dawg....but not 81K either.
I could buy a new Z with that!

I'm breaking down this project into smaller parts.
My father-in-law knows an excavating guy. In a few days, he is going to give a quote on excavating 75% of the driveway and all the drainage.

![]() ![]() Dawg - I'm thinking that 15 -18 is low though - I mean ours was $5k for 1600 Sq. Ft - with only a portion of that being torn out and regraded - and there's more size and options being looked at here - so I would expect some $$ but yeah the quoted amount is a bit shocking.....

Update...after 5 quotes, and two no-shows, Ayotte was the 2nd highest bidder but they're the only one's that understood the amount of drainage I wanted.
I'm going to have two-thirds of the driveway done now, and the rest in a year or two. Pic from this morning:

Sounds like you went with the guys who will get it done correctly for you. Might not be the cheapest but for something like this, you want them on the same page.

Good to hear!!
Still don't understand the huge price - but sounds like you've done enough research to understand the best plan of attack![]() Hopefully that helps some of the "Mud" situation
