Thanks for the links guys. And yes, I just got too excited seeing the price. Id actually like something stock, but thats very rare. That black t/a posted is nice, just unsure about the holes. Ill keep looking for sure, somethings gotta pop up at some point.

Im just getting pressure from the person who wants my car. I actually had a t/a lined up, but the seller mysteriously stop talking me for the last 2 weeks. So i had to tell them I cant let go of the car just yet. So I need something soon, but you cant rush these things, I just dont ever think Ill actually get the asking price for my car again, so I dont wanna miss out.

just would like to get some thoughts on this:
http://www.autotrader.com/dealers/in...=&cardist=5331

Now would it be better to maybe, go with my car and do trade in? I think I can get more for my car by taking my private buyers offer and then going to them with money in hand. But is it cheaper usually to do loans through a dealer like this? Or through my personal bank?

also thoughts on this :
http://hartford.craigslist.org/cto/1932084437.html

I mean, its a clean car from the pics, but KBB says this car is around 6700-6900. I think hes asking to much. What are your thoughts? I think 7k seems more reasonable

You will always get more selling your car than trading it in. And even if you want to trade it in you don't tell the dealer that until you've agreed on a price for the car you're buying. And if you're going to a dealership to look at a car have financing lined up, from multiple places if possible, so you can compare what they have to offer, which may or may not be better.

That Camaro sounds pretty good, sounds like it was babied, the fact that he kept stock parts says he is meticulous about the car. You could try to talk him down a little but someone else might snatch it up. You have to consider whether you want to try to save a few hundred bucks but take a chance on losing the oppurtunity to sell your Firebird rather than trading it in and taking a hit or trying to find another buyer for it.

That Formula looks nice too, but obviously the low miles plus being at a dealer brings the price up.

like that formy.... the kbb on it is almost dead on I'd say offer 10,500 or have check/cash in hand (money talks).

but then again you could buy an 11-12sec street legal machine for less. (by buying Chefs) lol

Also said it has a rattle which he think is heat shield. interior is used, stains ect. But think hes a little high on the price again. Or im just a cheapo

Its the end of the season for these cars. 7800 is alittle high. I would say 6900 is fair for that one.

Also as far as insurance and registration, anything I need to know when doing an out of state vehicle?

depends where you buy from..MA will not honor a title that is more then seven years old from RI or NH you can still registar it with out much of a problem just need a bill of sale and like a copy of previous registration..im not sure what happens about getting a new title tho i only know because when i was looking for my car my old man wouldnt let me get one unless i would have a clear title for it but from CT its just as good as a MA and shouldnt have any problems
