I guess this sorta fits in with this thread...last night I was down at the Berlin Turnpike and there was a guy there with a GT500. He had a large copy of a time slip from LVD in the window. Keep in mind these cars cost more than Charlie Sheen's hooker tab and are supercharged. It ran a 12.6 at 112. Seriously. He also said he broke his drive shaft that night. It cut 1.9 sixty foots.

The GT 500's run around 12.4- 12.6 stock. They respond very well to mods. Open up the exhaust, intake and tune and they are mid 11's. Still slow for 60k! Too bad they weigh too much!

Guy at my old apartment had one, it was a really nice car. Guy was really cool to, tho he never drove it. Upsetting when cars don't get used, spent more time covered up then driven.

800HP mustang = 12.3 @ 250MPH 1/4 mile times. The car is lame and has been lame since the last 04 Cobra rolled off the line. Honestly I am more impressed by the new Mustang GT then Shelby's 2 ton piece of poo. But my choice, you keep em all and I'll take a Z06 since several people have put them in the 10's bone stock except drag radials. even the ZR1 hasn't done that yet

I feel there is a limit on usefull power in stock cars, never mind on street tires. 500+ hp and your asking for traction problems unless your running a slick and with a slick comes broken shit.

If you can afford a Z06 or a ZR1 then you can afford broken shit. I dont care what anyone says. Hell I dont make a ton of money but when my shit breaks I still find a way to fix it.

Oh and the Shelbys can suck it!!!
