Dude, you were serious?

You've had my wheels turning since the other night when you said that. Let me discuss with the other half after we get through this golf tourney today.

Although I'd rather you just change your mind and keep the damn thing lol.

now i need new heads. 2 of the rockers came apart completely at the tips. self guiding rockers and variable lift lifters dont mix. im lucky a push rod didnt bend. the valve spring retainers on 2 of the valves need replaced. and from the lifters having so much backlash the valves are all pitted and cupped like i ran .050 gap on a solid cam. the top end is not JUNK but needs alot of work. work i really dont know if i wanna do all over again

you shall and you will, just sit back breathe drive the beater for a week or two then retrieve the list of parts gather them all up and make the magic happen (again) ...

I see this trend all too often with you LTx peeps you get discouraged when things break (again and again) but you fight through this love hate relationship we all share, especially with our cars.

you put all that effort into that fkn car this year to let it run like a champ for what 3 months? find your manhood and grab it by the throttle body then make it your bitch.

I'll see if I can dig up some heads for you, just cool your jets for a bit.

Even if you can't save the 396, you still have a chassis built for ~500 hp. Didn't you say you wanted to get an LQ9?
