Run a line from each valve cover to a catch can. Out of the top of the catch can run a line to the filter on the turbo. So under boost it pulls a vacuum on the lowerend of the motor to help seat the rings. |

thank you slowhawk for your opinion was curious so i can use a mcmastercar checkvalve from front of intake to side pvc so under boost dosnt back flow into crankcase and then on pass valve cover run line from cover to oil /vapor seperator catchcan to checkvalve to the tapped line in my cold side of turbo and block off tb port to vcover does this sound right? thanks again

Keep it simple like Slohawk suggested.
In the setups I have done, I usually just run a catch can with a breather off each cover. Eliminating the pcv all together and just venting the covers. |

Yes,it is an opinion but based off atleast 50 Forced induction vehicles I've done...LOL Keeping the PCV ussually doesn't pan out very well. |

You arent going to find too much info on venting the motor because its different for everyones application -Weld an AN fitting into each valve-cover -Install a catch-can (either a single can off a t, or one can for each cover)-Either run a filtered style catch can like this: http://image.musclemustangfastfords...._catch_can.jpg -Or install a can with a return line like Slowhawk suggested back to the inlet (turbo filter) http://www.eliteengineeringusa.com/all-colors.jpg If you want to see a bunch of turbo engine bays to get ideas on layouts and etc... http://www.yellowbullet.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=51574 |

Ha,ha,ha. I wish you spent the $3k for the LS computer conversion. As known I'm not a fan of tuning LT1's due to the lack of control. Add a turbo to a built LT1 and try to tune it in right? ha ,ha , you'd have to get me on a very good day.
