Lost MPH In Better Air??
wondering if my car is actually running lean, i lost about half a mph tonight at the track compared to last week but the DA was only 1000 at the beginning of the night and dropped to 900. last week it was over 2000 and dropped to 1900 yet i trapped higher last week (best trap was 108.32, 108.08 107.99) tonight my best was 107.77, 107.74, 107.67, 107.54) its only half a mph but you think in "better" air it would gain or atleast stay the same not slow down. guess i should have don live tune it.
nothing has changed on the car in the last week besides an oil change.

More traction =less mph seems like the air had little affect on the car

john, ive found that to not be true with this car. my mph goes up the better i 60ft.
my 60fts were the same as last time except for the 1.78 and my 1/4 mph was down on all my runs.

Nothing to do with the car it's physics

loosing mph in better air doesnt go along with physics.

just cause the da is better doesn't mean better air or means that the car needs or adjusted enough to the difference. moisture and other factors in the air can also make a difference that might not show in a da calculation. Or it could be less slip on shifts maybe you spun into different gears and didn't know it. maybe you shifted alittle slower this time. Maybe the clutch isn't holding as well. No matter either way more traction less mph. if all things =

figured it out, its the tire pressure. started out tonight trapping high 107s, dropped the air down to 14psi after 8pm and car slowed down alot, barely trapping 107, so for shits i put the psi up to 16 and the car trapped 108.20, put it back to 15psi and it slowed down to 107.70.
