Like I said, I get what you're point is and agree to a certain extent. Especially someone like you mike who already spent good $$ on the lt1. But, starting fresh, the lsx swap is very enticing for someone like me who doesn't have much tied up in the lt1. Seems like the end result has much more potential.

345 was the JQ9, the LQ4 was 300 or 325 depending on the year (rated HP anyway) but are known for making above 350HP/370Tq after 2002. The LQ9 actually makes close to 400HP at the crank.
