Well, it is a Cadillac. I'm sure they have pretty high standards for ride quality, even in a performance car. That skip when you hit a bump around corners with a SRA wouldn't cut it for them.

Those cars are a bit heavier than they should be- around 4200lbs? Not sure. Most cars nowadays are heavy due to the safety equipment the governmennt makes them put in. Look at the 2010 Camaro- that car is a way too heavy at 4000+ lbs!

I'll take the extra 600# compared to my old F-Body for the ride quality and handling, especially with the kind of power that car puts out. Probably close to half that weight isn't even in the suspension when you think how much stuff that car comes with. It adds up. When you consider that 4th Gen F-bodies strayed upward of 3600 pounds when you optioned them out and pretty much came with a bare cupboard of amenities, and the new ones weigh north of 3800, doesn't seem that bad IMO.
