Default WTB: Chevy Turbo 350 tranny

I'm looking for a chevy turbo 350 tranny with short tail (with torque converter) to swap into a second gen camaro. Looking for something that works - doesnt need a rebuild, and doesnt leak like crazy.

My plan was for an OD conversion - but I wont get to that this year ... so looking for the quick/cheap fix instead.

700r4 would cost about the same or less only bump in price is I think you need a drive shaft cut 40 bucks you will save that in fuel in no time though

I actually have a 700r4 from an 85z (for the project). It was told I should use a 200r4 instead ... have to research that one ...

If you already have the 700 just run with it. I've built cars with both and ran a 200 myself for years. Not enough difference to go shopping if you already have one over the other.

2004R is what you want, basically a turbo 350 with OD, came in the grand National and some early third gens, but like said above, if you have a 700 just build the hell out of it
