Funny thing is my car instantly dies if you pull that hose off. I did that when I seafoamed my car, I had to pinch it almost completely shut so the engine would still run.

Ok, just took it for a quick ride again and it was fine lol.

So, I'm gonna go with pizza on this and guess that I have what's about to permanently bad iac


On another note, more on this cam causing low and high res pulse signals? Car really is an absolute bitch until it warms up a little.

I think I tried both, I know if I took it off with the engine running it died, but I think I tried starting it with the hose off too.

Yeah alex it could go either way but if you pull it off then start it it will have a h igh idle and take longer to come down too

And it seems more like tune then anything. Matt. What I would do is check iac counts and commanded idle. You would want to see 30-50 counts and you should idle at about 950 rpm. And your map should be around 45-55kpa. If any of the above are off too far in open loop it will run like a bag of ass.

Sounds like how my car runs sometimes, its hit or miss, some days it will run fine, other days it will idle real low, then die lol, or idle at about 2,000rpms, i replaced my IAC, no change.
