Default Wetsanding and Buffing Update!!!

Was contacted by a friend of mine who has this Chevy s10 race truck. He had it painted black and it used to be two toned orange and silver. The truck used to have a stroked 383 ls1 with a glide. Now its going to have a built 6.0 with a bunch of spray and the glide. He contacted me because he pretty much got fucked on the paint job. The guy didn't sand and buff the bottom half of the truck and the top half he did do came out dull and half ass. So Ive been working down there at nights getting it looking good again. Here is a quick pick of the truck. I've got the passenger side done and the nose. So far I've got about 12hrs in it.

Finished up the truck. Looking good now.

Looks awesome man! My dad owns a detailing company and I've been doing it for years so I definitely appreciate the hard work that goes into something like that, especially wetsanding BLACK lol. Keep up the good work!

Thanks man. Ive been in it for years now too. Unfortunately alot of people don't know what it takes to do it right or what can/can't be fixed. Like the dealer I work for assumes a 3hr detail is a long job when in actuality it can be the tip of the ice burg.

Yeah it's crazy man. My dad ran the recon department at Central Chrysler Jeep Dodge in Norwood for 26 years and I worked with him a few summers when I was in high school and I definitely saw that. A GOOD detail takes some time, but dealers aren't patient lol. That's why my dad opened up his own company so he can take his time and do the job right.
