Looking Good!!!

Good Luck!!
That car is a blue Z but my pic probably doesn't show it well. There are other ralley green cars here though.

I didn't get judged today so it'll be judged tomorrow.

Also, the 1974 owner Larry came by this morning and spent at least 2 hours with car. I've got great pics with him in it and he really loved it.

Scored a 981 out of 1000.

New England F-Bodies FTW.

Thanks Alex!!!

We lost some points with the rushed parts....but still had the best score in the Bowtie class out of 14 cars.

The highlight though is pics of Larry in the driver's seat.

pics to folllow soon.

Mostly real small stuff...like repop hood bumpers that made the hood look a little bowed and a wrong bolt on the alternator bracket.

That's great. So, fix a few simple things, get 1000 points next year, then start driving it?

Next year it would be in the Legends class which is 5,000 points. It's definitely a tougher class but I'm planning on trying Legends next year. I am fortunate to have the 68 and the other 69 to cruise around in....for now.

What was real nice about the show is that everybody was really trying to help each other out as much as they could. By the time the judges reviewed my car, other guys from both the Bowtie class, and Legends class had already pointed out 80% of the problems already. Also Chick stopped by and pointed out some stuff which was real nice of him.

I also got to help some guys out with some easy to correct items like swapping the horn locations around....before the judges got there. Since it's a point system, everyone seemed to be great about helping each other out. The only thing is that even though someone points something out, their advice may be incorrect based on the build date of the car.
