This is true. At one point I could probably afford a z06. At least the C5 version. C6 version I'd be pushing it. C7 forget it.

Also, if the CTS made some sort of in between NA V8 model, i'd highly consider it. All you get these days for an engine choice on the CTS is either a v6, or the ZR1 engine. That's a huge gap in between

Someday Alex. I have a car that was once 25k in the 90's and you do too for ~4k. C5 Z06 prices are pretty affordable, I could see picking one up in the next couple of years. C6 will go down over the years also. The new styling of the C7 just made the C6's and C5's look very old.

For now, they are definitely something to talk about.
