Z won't idle? No codes...

Ok, haven't even popped the hood yet but I have a few minutes to kill between coats of paint so figured I'd post up.

Hopped in the z to go pick up a couple things. Car ran fine when we parked it a couple days ago. Starts fine, runs ok going down the road, just won't idle on it's own. Idles fine at whatever rpm I keep my foot at though.
It's not throwing any codes. Any ideas? I'll double check the intake track make sure it's tight but beyond that what won't throw a code on an lt1?

Or is the car just jealous I've been spending all my time the past week on her subie and it'll straighten itself out when I start on it in the next couple days lol?

Iac motor died I'm guessing. Computer commands it closed on key. Then opens it on crank. 2 coils do this operation. I bet one has burnt. Or its just getting sticky. Take it off and clean it. Ohh and does your mph follwer work? That's wen you drive down the road and put the clutch in. It should keep a high idle until a complete stop.

I'd guess vaccum maybe a rip or loose near the tb

First time I noticed it was when it stalled going to pull into dunks. Stuffed the clutch at about 30 mph to slow down for the lot and it died.

It almost wants to idle but at just under 500 rpm. Doesn't last long lol. I was thinking vaccum but iac would make sense. Not many vaccum lines on this car.

Yeah a vacuum leak would usually cause a high idle too. Sure sounds like the IAC, Camrys are notorious for that. Be careful if you clean it, I think I read that they are sensitive to harsh chemicals.

Tell me about it lol. It still throws both opti codes every cold start, done it as long as I've owned it, even with the msd opti. They go away as soon as it gets up to temp though so I gave up and stopped worrying about it.

Low and high res pulse have come up on cold starts from a cam befofe. Not common but it happens. I say vacuum leak would cause high idle. Try it. Pull the brake booster hose off. Fucker will zing right up.
