....and apparently only Nick can go to North Korea. Spent about 5 minutes in an enemy country today, pretty strange, especially with no gun or body armor.....

Yeah it was in the Joint Security area. Standing face to face with armed KPA was still pretty stressful. They stayed away at first them tried to provoke us, which is honestly half the reason we were there, to piss them off. Good history lesson though as our guard/guide explained to us how many people have been killed by random acts of violence in the JSA. Def would have liked to have an M4 in hand. I was doing some reading up on the DMZ, crazy stuff. North Korean troops might fire on South Koreans or Americans at any time for no apparent reason.
