Little computer help!!!
So Ive been using my mother in laws laptop for a little while now after work and such since Iam away from home. I usually go on and check out all my car forums such as here and ls1tech etc, etc. Well last night I was on ls1tech and I made a post in a thread and now whenever I go to ls1tech it loads the main page and then pops up with this error saying "Cannot open the internet site ls1tech.com yada yada. Operation aborted"
I tried doing a system restore on the laptop to earlier in the week but that didnt work and I tried restarting Internet explorer too. So now WTF???

I already tried a restore point. The funny thing is if I log in under a guest and not the other user name on the computer it works just fine. Kinda odd. And its only on that site. Everything else works fine.

sounds like an LS1 tech issue. vbulletin can act wierd and fuck up peoples account settings some times. try emailing a mod or admin.

Yeah I just made a thread in the admin forum. We shall see what happens. Kinda odd because it was working just fine last night and then bam it started doing this.

that is computer side related..nothing to do with the site.
justin try using a different browser just to see if it works..download firefox or chrome (assuming your using internet explorer) this will quickly tell you weather its a firewall setting or a browser issue

why if every other thing works would this be a pc side issue? i could see it if say flash got fucked up or you virus protection got fucked. but it would effect alot more then just LS1tech wich really doesnt have anything going on but stock board software and a few minor add-ons.

Well I got a response over on ls1tech. Turns out that there is a glitch in IE7 that causes it to show that error message. The kicker is that i also have something else going on because I went to upgrade to IE8 like they told me too and everything was fine until just after the download it said that windows could not find yada yada and cant run the program or some bull shit. Oh well not a biggie. I just log on as a guest on my computer and it works fine. Kinda odd.
