Ok got a question? I got a 2 quart oil filter for my car its a wix brand from what I read wix is one of very few oil filters company's out there that make oil filters and are pretty decent. Does anybody think its not good to put such a big filter on a stock motor or not. I personally think I'm going to get more filtration out of it, the oil pressure with this filter (if my gage is working properly and I haven't put a mechanical gage on yet either) at idle when warm its 20 psi driving on highway between 60-70 at 2k-2200 its 40-45. The oil pressure to me has always been low the car has 100k on it now and all I use is synthetic oil.

Wix filters are very good filters. You probably wont get more filtration out of it as much as more capacity. Oil pressure rule of thumb is usually 10 psi for every 1000 rpm.

That oil pressure is exactly what my car has, I would say it is right on. As for the filter I run a larger filter on my car, not sure how many quarts but it's the filter for a truck 350. As long as the filter doesn't hang so low that it could scrape or hit something there shouldn't be an issue. If you have an oil cooler it might hang pretty low, but I doubt your car has one. More capacity and filter media is always a good thing, you're spreading the work of lubricating the engine over more oil.

I use the longer one too, mainly because I have LT's no problems with pressure just need to add a little more oil.

Also it's a good idea to fill the filter with oil before installing, otherwise the engine is starved of oil for a few seconds on startup.
