Heavy Equipment fun at work
So the right tire on the backhoe at work decided to start running less than straight, so I pulled out the "ball joints" on that side, and this is the mess I found. The really messed up one came out of the bottom, and the other from the top. and then theres a picture of the new one which obviously doesnt have the bearing pressed on yet. On top of that, half of the tapered roller bearing is still stuck in the knuckle, and I have yet to figure out how im going to get it out haha. Ill find out tomorrow.

cut the race out with a torch. if you do it right the heat/cut wont touch the knuckle. That would be my first attack. Good Luck and Good Shit!! looks like fun were do you work?

Yeah, Im going to pick up tanks for our torch today, then I plan on cutting it out. I work for my father, he owns an excavation company called Quarry Hill excavating. And its a john deere 310se 4x4
