Possible 4l60E issue?
So I have been daily driving my wifes 99Z28 for about 4 or 5 months now. The car is mostly stock with a k/n cold air intake, corsa catback, 3.42 gears, slp MAF and a street tune from Slowhawk.
My issue is I have noticed when driving with the windows down when coming to a stop I seem to get a little rattling noise from underneath. The trans up shifts fine and doesnt slip or have any other problems. It almost sounds like its coming from the linkage. It down shifts fine but just makes a rattling and I can notice it if I am slowing down next to the curb or another car. Any ideas?

Just curious, does it do it only while in gear, or anytime it's running?
Have you checked out the exhaust or heat shields for any rub marks that could be part of a rubbing/rattling noise?

Only while coming to a stop in gear. Definitely not a heat shield

maybe the stator is loose in the converter
