Some companies who quoted didn't want to talk to me about drainage or told me I didn't need that much drainage. They wouldn't be the one's stuck living in the mud bog though. Also, it's things like having geo-textile fabric encapsulate the drainage pipe and the rocks in the French drain that made me go with Ayotte. They really know their drainage & driveways!

The price isn't that surprising when you consider the size of the driveway and all the details

I agree, let's rubber coat his drive way so no seal coating is needed.

Nice! Too bad I don't live closer to ya, Im a heavy equipment operator and I do drainage like this aaalllll the time. And yes the fabric makes all the difference in the world. That way your drain pipe doesn't get clogged up with silt over the years. Looks like quite the little project!

Also instead of paving in front of your Camaro garage, (idk if you did already or not) you could always just have somebody come in and strip the loam down to the sub base and then just put down reground asphalt, much cheaper. I think that stuff works great, doesn't get dusty like gravel or reground concrete does and the more you drive on it, it actually almost turns into paved asphalt.
