They are pretty much mimicing what is done on motorcycles.Just harder the way you have to move the shifters.
No tranny is made to last when dog boned in any way.A dog bone setup works great,I use to have them cut like that for my bikes. The engagement will always wear down.This is why faceplated and liberty tranny's are mostly made for the track. A street car can make them last awhile because you are not powershifting in reguler driving. LPE has a ton of time and money.If they wanted to go real fast they would just run a powerglide and be done. |
