ummmm I'm with Mike I'd definately take the carpet out lol I was welding new mounts on the bottom of the cab of my old truck and the padding under my carpet caught on fire lol good thing it was going to be getting a new one anyways but unless you plan on getting a new carpet or a whole car after it turns into a camaro-lantern then just throw it on the lift and do it.

ok maybe I should just do the 180. Its at cottons performance in agawam. You might have heard of them, they are huge on grand nationals there. I pulled and it was like heaven, there were atleast 15 GNs in the lot and another 4 in the garage. Ill go there more then likely. thanks everyone!
